My name is Louise and I am a counsellor with a passion for nature and the therapeutic benefits of the great outdoors. I believe in people and have a deep rooted confidence in a persons own strength and power to direct their own lives.
Life can be overwhelming at times and I have met with those struggling with different challanges including anxiety, bereavement, stress, depression and trauma along with changes in our sense of identity, ageing, relationships and personal development.
I am humbled when I am invited to share the stories of others and ensure that each persons challanges are heard without judgement or bias. As a counsellor I offer the time and space needed to explore and work through the imact these experiences may be having and help to understand our own strengths and development.
Just as nature can be used in therapy, therapy can be used in nature.
I hope this project can combine the two, with options for traditional therapy alongside nature based activities such as gardening and hoticulture, outdoor sports and adventure activities.
